Pharmacology is one of the most terrifying subjects in medical school. It is super heavy on tablets and a mysterious fairytale. As a child, we all love to play games but pharmacology is a tough memorization game. Students always get confused about where to start and how to start.  It always seems impossible until its done. (Nelson Mendela) A list of pharmacology resources I use and recommend. It is always better to start early. Get used to them with dedication and hard work. Let's GO.   1.  GIVE YOURSELF SOME SPACE: Dedicate several hours of the day to studying not the whole. You’ll feel less stressed!  2.  ASK FOR HELP WHEN NEEDED: Sometimes outsourcing your work can relieve the burden. Sharing your problems with friends and family can help you get possible solutions.  3.  LEARN TO SAY NO: If you’ve got a lot on your work list then feel free to say NO to others. Prioritize some things over others! Be wise in that regard.  4.  REWARD YOURSELF: After long hours of study give yourself cool rewards like; a cup of tea/coffee, gossip, walk, etc. These helped me and I’m positive that these will help you too if you implement them in your daily routine.   Ramadan is the holy month in the Islamic calendar, 29-30 days long. During this month, the Muslim ummah keeps fasting. They offer Taravieh at night as part of prayer. I am a medical student and I know, how it feels when you do not want to study or prepare for a test.  I have gathered a few tips that can help you stay motivated in medical school. Let's have a look. 1. Take Breaks Between Your Study Hours: When you study for long hours and at the same place, you feel bored and irritated, I feel that too. Now, you need to make some simple changes. First, list down everything you need to do then assign time limits to each. Take breaks between every task that you have listed. This will help your brain to absorb different things. You can do anything you like during your break like; going on a walk with your pet, eating your favorite food, watching a movie, or gossiping with your friend.  2. If you are a student and want to memorize things faster in order to save some time then read ahead. There are many ways to train your brain to memorize and learn faster. 1. Workout Daily Here the workout doesn't mean going to the gym, it only means exercising for mind clearance. When your mind will be clear, it will be able to store lots of stuff in it. If your brain is not working properly even you exercise then eat memory-boosting foods like; almonds, blueberries, dark chocolate, nuts, and fatty fish.  2. Take Sufficient Sleep When you sleep, your brain saves things that are important and removes the things that are not much important. And also when you will wake up the next morning, your brain will be fresh and ready to memorize.  3. Write Down Write down what you need to memorize over and over again. Notes-taking is a really essential thing for good remembrance. If you want to succeed in your field of study then read ahead and note down important points.  I usually take notes when I watch lesson videos or read something in books. My tips for taking notes are beneficial so do apply them and see the magic.  1. Do not Use Lots of colored Pencils: I have noticed that when we take our notes, we use lots of colored pencils, markers, and other stationery items. I recommend you not to use lots of them as they lead to a waste of time. You can use up to two colored pencils to make your notes appealing.  2. Write Precisely:  Write down only those points that are important and create the story behind them. Next time when you will read those notes, you will remember the story and that is a really good idea.  3.   I know it is quite hard to manage time, being a medical student. I have a few simple tips for you on how to master your time during your medical school journey.  Wake up early in the mornings:           I have learned that waking up early in the morning gives you lots of time to invest in your studies. Your mind is fresh and free of stress in the morning so you can make the most out of it.       2.  Make a to-do-list:      Write all of the work you do every day and set a time limit for each. Make sure you spent most of the time on your MITS (Most Important Tasks) and try to spend your mornings on them.
