Staying motivated being a medical student seems hard but it isn't, believe me. I am a medical student and I know, how it feels when you do not want to study or prepare for a test.
I have gathered a few tips that can help you stay motivated in medical school. Let's have a look.
1. Take Breaks Between Your Study Hours:
When you study for long hours and at the same place, you feel bored and irritated, I feel that too. Now, you need to make some simple changes. First, list down everything you need to do then assign time limits to each. Take breaks between every task that you have listed. This will help your brain to absorb different things. You can do anything you like during your break like; going on a walk with your pet, eating your favorite food, watching a movie, or gossiping with your friend.
2. Do Physical Workout:
Any type of physical activity will boost your mood and will increase your focus. Doing that at home or at the gym doesn't matter, the thing that matters is that you do it daily. When you study post-workout, you study really well than before. Start working out today. I remember when I got overweight, I started working out, which not even helped me to lose weight but it also boosted my mood. I felt lighter, happy, and stress-free. That kept me motivated.
3. Eat Healthily:
I love junk food and I know you all too. But this is not going to help us in long run. We have to make healthy eating habits that will not only help us look cool but will give us lots of energy to stay on track. I have started and now it's your turn, go ahead.
